Shipwrecked! is a unique live storytelling performance and podcast which takes place monthly in the heart of New Orleans, Louisiana at the one-of-a-kind New Movement Theatre. It was dreamed up by James Hamilton and Sophie Johnson, who mutually enjoy Indian food and doing improv comedy with children. There’s no set format, so every month’s show is distinct.

Hell Yes Homecoming w/ Theo Von, Katie East, Liv Augusta

Theo Von is one of the fastest rising stars of stand-up comedy. He is currently the host of Yahoo!’s popular daily recap show, Primetime in No Time, which averages over one million views a day. Theo will next be seen this spring on Comedy Central’s The Half Hours. He’s also the genius behind, a website where he texts random numbers and gets into conversations with total strangers. Checkbook (Austin) + Claws with Fangs (New Orleans)

Checkbook formed in 2011 and the members all have studied under The New Movement. In February 2011 Checkbook performed in Frontera Fest in Austin, TX. Checkbook has performed monthly at TNM in Austin and performed the opening weekend show for TNM New Orleans in March 2012. To read more about the individuals in Checkbook go here!

Claws with Fangs is one of the best improv groups in Louisiana featuring a collection of veterans from TNM Austin and New Orleans. You’ve seen them at venues and special events all over New Orleans and Austin. Now see them be brilliant at Hell Yes Fest.

Hailing from the dirty gulf, Stupid Time Machine is a New Orleans-based comedy group  known for their original sketch revues and stone cold improv shows. They are co-founders of The New Movement New Orleans. They will be debuting a brand new sketch show at Hell Yes Fest.

Because we love you and because we know you’re going to be gobbling up tickets to all of the other shows like the hungry comedy lover you are, we’re going to hook you up with this one. Siberia is not only the site of Friday’s After-Party (we’re going all night with this one, folks), but it’s also a 100% Free show featuring your favorite New Orleans comedians and maybe if you’re luck some special guest spots from out of town performers.
